It is hard to stay focused all the time. It is challenging to think correctly all the time. When we don't though we frequently get the facts mixed up or the order confused.
The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.

Hear the truth in that.
Salvation comes through grace alone so that none of us may boast. We boast only in the love of our God for us.
