THOUGHT: More Trinity

All right, the Trinity? God in three Persons? Why not the "binity"? God in two persons? Or why not 16 persons? Well the truth is, it's three. One God in three Persons.
One God in three persons gives us a glimpse into the perfect community that God enjoys. Here are a few instances where the Bible talks about it.

John 6:27 (New Living Translation)
27 But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.
Colossians 1:17-19 (NLT)

17 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
18 Christ is also the head of the church,
which is his body.
He is the beginning,
supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So he is first in everything.
19 For God in all his fullness
was pleased to live in Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (NLT)

10 But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. 11 No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. 12 And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

Don't worry, you'll never quite get your mind around it. That's why God is God. But take comfort in knowing that God loves you, and those Persons are working together to redeem the world.
